The five things that decide the price
- 1. Number of dronesThe biggest factor. More drones mean more detail and a bigger picture in the sky, and more equipment and crew on the ground.
- 2. Show lengthMost shows run a few minutes with a set of formations. Longer shows need more battery sets and design time.
- 3. Custom designsReady formations (hearts, stars, countdowns) cost less than custom logos, lettering and 3D animations designed for you.
- 4. Location and travelShows outside Chennai include transport of the fleet and crew, and stay for the team.
- 5. Clearances and logisticsVenue checks, airspace clearance, crowd barriers and any rehearsal flights.
How many drones do you need?
- Smaller fleetsSimple shapes, short words, hearts and countdowns.
- Around 200–300 dronesClean logos, longer lettering and smoother animations. Our show at Sairam Institutions flew 250 drones.
- Larger fleetsDetailed 3D animations and very large pictures for stadium-size audiences.
Questions to ask any drone show company
- Who handles permissions?Ask whether venue, airspace and local clearances are included in the quote.
- What if it rains or is windy?Ask for the weather plan and the backup time, in writing.
- Can I see a 3D preview?A preview of the formations before show night avoids surprises.
